Assessing the next school year and how it’s going to work FOR me - as if I chose it exactly as it is. What will the picture look like integrating business badassery, homeschooling mummahood, GROOVE goodness, Love filled leadership, soul-nourishing connections, mountain top adventures with friends and fam... oh, and solo me time? . Don’t worry... I’m turning this magic into workshops as I go. I pinky swear to share what I discover! 😘 |

Pandemic circumstances, mindset, and being a human.
Grab a cuppa and join me for a chat. Big love all around! “With every act of self-care your authentic self gets stronger, and the critical, fearful mind gets weaker. Every act of self-care is a powerful declaration: I am on my side. I am on my side. Each day I am more and more on my own side.” ~ Susan Weiss Berry There are lots of very good reasons why self-care is "hard", why we "wouldn't/can't" or why we simply "don't wanna" take it on right now. Really reasonable reasons. Reasons no reasonable person would ever question - luckily I've never been accused of being reasonable ;) The sneaky thing about those reasons not to, is that they are likely the very same reasons you would give me if I asked you why you WOULD take on self-care right now. We are currently being called to build the resilience of our hearts, our creativity and our courage. It is totally ok and normal when challenged and triggered to want to check out or to trip over. Which is why we often need even more structure and support to keep sourcing ourselves in nourishing and loving ways when challenging circumstances (enter global pandemic, or heartbreak for a multitude of other reasons, here) arise. So... I created a mini Source Yo'Self Challenge to support! You can choose your own daily actions, or play along with mine. Both versions are available below to download. If you are creating your own, here are some questions to consider as you choose which daily actions to commit to:
Share your progress with me either here, or on instagram or facebook (don't forget to tag me so I see it). Invite friends to join you - more accountability makes it sooo much easier! Share a picture with me on the last day - April 22 - with your sheet filled out, and I will draw a name from those pictures to be the winner of the challenge. The winner will receive a surprise gift from me in the mail! We start on the full moon - Tuesday, April 7... You ready to Source Yo'Self? xx
Happy Saturday, brilliant beings!
Today is the day after the New Moon. Our first new moon of 2020 - and this one said to bring rebellious, progressive, forward looking energy. It's also about 3 weeks into the new year, where the gusto of new years resolutions are either now sinking into becoming new habits, ooooooor those resolutions are things that have fallen off our radars as we settle into old familiar patterns. Whichever camp you may have fallen into, today seemed like the perfect time to send you a guided meditation to support you in stepping forward into this next moon cycle powerfully, and with intention. So find yourself a comfy spot to settle in, keep your journal close by, grab a cup of tea and press play... For a flower to grow - Water the flower. Nourish the ground it grows in. Give it sunlight and attention. Prying it open just because you want it now, won’t make it bloom faster. Neither will it work to neglect it and just sit hoping. . Same with goals and dreams. Take aligned action consistently. Give them sunlight and attention. Forcing them from control won’t create them. Neither will inaction and relying purely on hope. . Manifesting is an act of co-creation. . The magic of blooms and goals? They tend to be exponentially more beautiful than what we imagined when they come to be - worth both the Grit and the Grace in creation. Prying it open just because you want it now, won’t make it bloom faster.
You might feel afraid.
Do it anyway. Your heart might race. Say it anyway. Your heart might break. Love anyway. You might fall. Fly anyway. ~ Liz Zdunich
The second video in the series... From my session Confessions of a Confident Woman at the PNAA Women in Aerospace Conference, here is the first of ten secrets to choosing to BE confident, regardless of how you are feeling that day. "Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage." |
